Crew,

SCULLY:

From the "Dad, Give Me The Check Please" X-File
episodic narrative Posted by Iceman on 1/26/2002, 1:04 am...

"At this point in time...the BIG 3 (MRF, AVN...who by the way will soon be called THE GLOBAL MODEL, and BIG BLUE) are whispering another FRIDAY (which would be February 1st for all the technical people out there) c-l-e-a-n-u-p-d-a-y."

MULDER:

...is still on time for Friday. Only "kink" in the isobaric weather chart is that instead of the front flying through at 7 AM FRIDAY, subsequently turning the winds OFFSHORE like models on the 26th forecast to do for this Friday)...the SWITCH is looking more and more like 7 pm on Friday. Figures. Still...that's NOT A BAD extended forecast for the BIG 3 (AVN, MRF, BLUE) on the timing almost a week prior to the event itself!
Your tax dollars are helping to improve all the HALS. Pretty soon, HAL will gladly take it ALL under control. Being 12 hours off ain't too shabby for the machines almost 7 days out. It's just...those 12 hours will no doubt KILL a lot of IT off come Saturday morning. So...get your jolly's out on a southfacing beach (like the last event folks) come late Thursday and all day Friday while ya got the chance to power down into some "juice" (but unfortuantely, not as much JUICE as Bobby's pic).

TRUST NO 1:

The Extended Marine Forecast issued at 245 am this morning from the Hallowed Halls Of Big Blue Land...

WED: SW wind 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

THU: S wind 15 knots, then becoming SW and increasing to 25 knots by afternoon. Seas 4 in da morning increasing to 6 feet by afternoon.

FRI: SW wind 25-30 knots. Should be up to GALE FORCE (34-47 knots) by this time at da Pan and Diamonds are a Girls best friend data buoys. Winds (at this time) due to switch to the WEST at the same speeds at 7 pm...then NW (yeah, yeah...pretty much at the same speeds) at around 1 am Saturday. Seas "at least" 6-8-10 feet. Gulf Stream going into 12 foot range.

MUSINGS OF A CIGARETTE SMOKING MAN:

(NOTE: We'll have to change the above to CIGAR)
Southfacing beaches mantra will once again be the call. Will get biggun' from the Hotel Just Over The Bridge break right on up to Da SHERATON and Eastside pier breaks. Especially by Friday. DrDropin's place northward to Patton's stompin' grounds will also get more size than Darryl's. Sorry PW.

THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE:

AVN still model of choice. Gentlemen and one Cheeky and one Cheeky's mom and one Ocean (who is busy, busy, busy!)...you can trust your wave models and cheet sheets...and...

* "weather matrix."

Gotta go. "Pancakes on the griddle...thank god I'm a country boy."

Ice

* "Pretty soon, HAL will gladly take it ALL under control."
